ECA Stack Guide 101: Everything You Need To Know In 2023

People who want to lose weight often try killer diets, weird exercise routines, and even steroids. What if I told you that you don’t actually need those things… all you need is the ECA stack guide.

Now, does it really work, or is it just another fad supplement that will sell you empty promises? 

In all honesty, it does work well. This “ECA Stack,” which stands for “Ephedrine, Caffeine, and Aspirin,” has been used for years because it is easy to get and works well. 

You shouldn’t mess around with this, though, because many of these substances are dangerous when taken at too high of a dosage.

So, if you’re looking for a magic bullet to speed up your fat loss, you don’t need to look any further than this stack. 

In this short, step-by-step guide, I’ll tell you exactly what this supplement is, how it works, and how it can help you burn fat. 

What’s The ECA Stack? 

As we’ve already said, an ECA stack is just a mix of ephedrine, caffeine, and aspirin. It’s easy to get and has been shown to work by doctors. 

The point is that it speeds up your metabolism and makes you feel less hungry, which makes it easier to lose body fat. 

The ECA stack is an acronym for: 

Ephedrine\Caffeine\Aspirin 

All three ingredients work together to speed up your metabolism, which helps you burn calories more quickly. 

In fact, a study done at Harvard Medical School found that it burned 246 percent more fat than a placebo: 

“Over the course of 8 weeks, people who took ECA lost 2.2 kg more weight than those who took a placebo (p 0.05). 8 of the 13 people who took the placebo came back after 5 months and got ECA in an unblinded crossover. After 8 weeks, the average weight loss with ECA was 3.2 kg, while the average weight loss with a placebo was 1.3 kg (p = 0.036).”

Lots of peer-reviewed studies have shown that ephedrine and caffeine are good for you, so from a medical point of view, the evidence is pretty strong. 

Where To Get An ECA Stack

The ECA stack is 100% legal, which is good news. All of the things you need to make it are very cheap and can be bought at your local pharmacy. You might have to show your ID to buy aspirin, but caffeine and aspirin are easy to find and cost less than $10 each at Walmart. Most of the time, caffeine is taken in the form of caffeine pills, which can be bought on Amazon or at any regular store. Or, you could get it from a good pre workout.

Aspirin is also easy to get, and most pharmacies carry it. The ephedrine is the only thing that will take some work. 

Most of the “ephedrine” sold online is fake, so it’s best to just pick up some cheap stuff at your local pharmacy. 

One tablet of Bronkaid has 25mg of ephedrine, which is a key part of ECA stacks, so it is an important part of this supplement.

ECA Stack Ingredients:

Even though there are a lot of supplements on the market called “ECA stacks,” the ingredients are simple and can be bought without a prescription. In fact, I’d say it’s better to just make the stack on your own. I wouldn’t trust many of the online products that say they sell ephedrine or ephedrine because it’s against the law to do so. 

But ephedrine, which comes from the ephedra plant, can be bought at any pharmacy without a prescription, so it’s easy to make your own stacks for cheap. 

The ECA stack is made up of three main parts: 

Ephedrine\sCaffeine\sAspirin 

When these supplements are taken together, research shows that they speed up weight loss by a lot, especially in healthy people. 

Ephedrine 

Ephedrine, which comes from the herb ephedra, is by far the strongest ingredient on this list. It has also been shown to help people lose weight by doctors. 

In fact, a lot of research shows that ephedra-based supplements can help speed up the rate of fat loss by making the metabolism work faster. Beta agonists like ECA stacks, which are based on ephedra, have been shown to increase hormones in the body that burn fat. 

Caffeine 

Some people like to take pills with caffeine, but I’d rather just drink pre workout. Pre workout has a lot of good things about it, and if you get the right kind, it tastes great too. 

Caffeine is an important part of this because it is known to reduce hunger and speed up the metabolism. This will help you get a six-pack faster than if you only used Aspirin and Ephedrine. Pre has a lot of benefits on its own, but when you combine it with Ephedrine (from Bronkaid tablets) for the ECA stack, you’ll be burning fat faster than you can say “six-pack abs.” 

Aspirin 

Aspirin doesn’t burn fat on its own, but it is taken with the ECA stack to make the effects of caffeine and Ephedrine last longer. When you take the “EC” part of this stack, you’re taking Ephedrine and caffeine, which will make your bloodstream have more norepinephrine, a hormone that speeds up your metabolism. 

Taking aspirin at the same time stops this hormone from going down. In other words, it doesn’t change the effects, it just makes them last longer. 

How to Take ECA Stack

Once you have caffeine pills, aspirin tablets, and Bronkaid tablets, you can start putting together your own stack. 

Most people take one of the following supplements three times a day: 

25mg Ephedrine (one tablet of Bronkaid) 

200mg Caffeine (one caffeine pill) 81mg Aspirin (one baby aspirin tablet) 

I personally would use whatever amount is in my pre workout and mix the rest in. If this is your first time trying a stack like this, start with just one dose to be safe and figure out how much you can handle. 

Dosage & Timing Guidelines 

The ECA stack works best when taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. If you’re sensitive to stimulants, you can try taking it with breakfast instead. The effects of this supplement usually last between 4 and 6 hours, but this will depend on how well it works for you and how much you take. 

A typical day might look something like this: 

Take the first dose at breakfast (9 a.m.) second at Lunch (1 p.m.): and final at dinner Dinner (6pm). Take the full stack each time.

Stacks like this are usually taken three times a day, but this rule may need to be changed depending on your tolerance and overall goals. Most beginners, though, should NOT take this supplement with a pre-workout, because that would make it way too strong. 

ECA Stack Benefits 

The ECA stack has a lot of benefits, but weight loss is the most important one. Most people take it to lose weight and cut fat, which is not a secret.

It has a similar effect and feeling to Adderall.

Getting rid of weight faster 

As I already said, the main benefit of the ECA stack is that it helps people lose weight quickly. Even though it doesn’t work as well as SARMs, it’s still pretty good. 

Ephedra-based supplements can help you lose the last 5 to 10 pounds you need to lose before your six pack starts to show. 

It can also give you the “extra edge” you need to improve your health. Because it speeds up fat loss, it makes you feel like it’s easier on a mental level. 

Higher levels of energy 

Your energy will also go up, which is a nice bonus. In fact, many studies have shown that ephedrine is a major stimulant. One of the main things that people say happens when they take this supplement is that they feel like they have a lot of energy. You might feel a small crash at the end of the day as a side effect, but if you time your doses right, this will happen at night. You will also need the energy when you’re shredding fat as you’re in a caloric deficit.

Focused better 

If you’re a student, you might find that the ECA stack helps you think more clearly and concentrate better. It sure makes it easier to study. So, I can’t suggest this to anyone younger than 18 years old. Not because it’s bad for you, but because I’m not a doctor and I don’t want a kid with a heart problem to have a heart attack or something. 

I took the ECA stack throughout high school and turned out fine, but again, I’d suggest you wait until college to use it to help you focus. 

Suppressed Hunger 

Another benefit of the ECA stack is that it makes it easier to do intermittent fasting because it makes you feel less hungry. Intermittent fasting has been shown to help people lose fat, gain muscle, and improve their overall health, so this is a big plus. You don’t have to fast while you’re on this stack, but if you’re trying to lose weight, it’s a good idea. 

Effects of an ECA stack 

Now that we’ve talked about the benefits, let’s look at some of the bad things that can happen when you take Ephedrine, Caffeine, and Aspirin together. 

Some common side effects could be: 

  • More stress  
  • Restlessness & Insomnia 
  • Blood Pressure Too High 
  • Hands That Flutter and Shake 

Most stimulants will have these side effects, but the good news is that you can just lower your dose if you do. Evidence suggests that ephedra supplements are safe, but if you do experience side effects, just lower your dosage. It’s easy. 

Overall, this supplement’s side effects aren’t all that bad. To be blunt, they’re not worse than what happens when you drink too many energy drinks. When I took this stack, I felt a little restless and jittery, but it wasn’t too bad. After a few days, I was used to it. I did only use it for 2 weeks though (before photo shoots).
