The fitness industry is filled with thousands of supplements, all claiming to help you get insane results, but only if you pay a ridiculous fee (and then have the supplement not work).
We’re all fed up with the lies of mainstream fitness sites, so luckily for you, I have reviewed and compiled a list of the best supplements to get jacked.
Generally speaking, there are two kinds of fitness supplements.
Why You Should Listen to Me
If you’re like most people looking for fitness advice, you’ve probably been to hundreds of sites that gave generic, bs advice that never really helped. You’ve probably been scammed by “fitness gurus” and wasted tons of money on worthless supplements. (GNC)
Having been in the fitness industry for years now, I personally know the ins and outs, what works and what doesn’t work. In fact, I’ve probably wasted more money than most people buying crappy supplements and courses that didn’t work.
I know how to build muscle and get jacked.
But, I don’t want you to go through that, so I’ve decided to save you time by compiling a list of the best fitness supplements in 2022. Let’s get into it:
Best Protein Powders:Check Current Price
The most reliable, trusted supplement on the market is whey protein. Don’t waste your time with “plant based” bs or any other special proteins you’ve never heard of.
Because the supplement market is unregulated, it’s critical to get whey protein from a reputable supplier. I’d estimate that about 65 percent of whey protein contains some type of filler.
Then there’s another 25% that’s just plain bad (denatured protein from heat processing, artificial rubbish, lack of digestive enzymes, etc. ), leaving only 10% that’s genuinely good.
Why You Need Good Whey Protein:
Whey protein, on the other hand, is one of the best muscle-building supplements on the globe, so you’ll want to get a decent one.
But how can you tell if a whey protein supplement sucks? It’s actually very simple: simply look at the price.
When it comes to whey protein, you get what you pay for. Any whey protein that costs less than $25 is likely to be of poor quality.
So now that we’ve established that high quality whey protein is the only way to go, let’s get into how it works.
It also helps you get your daily nutrients in when you’re trying to gain weight.
Whey Protein Benefits:
- Maximize Recovery Post Workout
- Straight quality protein
- Helps Build Lean Muscle
As I said before, whey protein has a reputation for being one of the oldest and most trusted muscle-building supplements for a reason. It has tons of clinical studies backing up its effectiveness.
Supplement Clinical Research
In a study conducted by the University of Toronto Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, researchers praised whey protein for its ability to enhance recovery post-workout :
Whey protein supplementation enhances whole body anabolism, and may improve acute recovery of exercise performance after a strenuous bout of resistance exercise… our data suggest that resistance-trained individuals may benefit from protein supplementationUniversity of Toronto Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education
It’s a great supplement for everyone trying to put on muscle because it helps you get protein into your system, repairing your muscles.
I just put 2-3 scoops of protein powder into a blender bottle or shake and drink it. You can do it in different ways, but it’s important that you take it consistently every day.
Best Types of Protein Powders:
With hundreds of kinds of protein powder on the market, you’ve got to sort through the junk and the good stuff. There are generally three different kinds of whey protein powders worth your money.
- Whey Protein (Gold Standard)
- Whey Protein Bulk Supplements
- Isopure Whey Protein
I’ve previously suggested this whey protein on my site because it’s of excellent quality, purity, and affordability.
It has the best value for money. It isn’t cheap, but it’s not expensive either, and it is a high-quality whey protein. It’s all-natural, with no fillers or adulterants, and it’s simple to digest.
Whey protein concentrate contains more fat than isolate, yet both have advantages and disadvantages. Concentrate is better for post-workout recovery, but isolate is easier to digest.
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard combines the two to provide the best nutrition possible.
Bulk supplements have long been a favorite of mine due to their inexpensive costs and great quality items. Their whey protein is, in my opinion, the greatest whey protein on the market. Why?
- It’s made by grass-fed cows. Whey protein from grass-fed cows is higher in micronutrients, strengthens your immune system, and has a greater omega-3 concentration, according to studies.
- Toxins, antibiotics, and hormones are all significantly reduced in grass-fed whey.
- It just contains one ingredient: 100% whey protein. There are no artificial sweeteners, chemicals, fillers, or anything else in this drink.
- In comparison to non-grass-fed whey proteins, the pricing is exceptionally competitive.
The only issue is that it is flavorless, but that can easily be solved by drinking it with some whole milk.
Isopure Whey Protein
Isopure is made entirely of whey protein isolate, making it great for weight loss while also allowing you to recuperate after a workout.
Whey protein isolate contains less calories and more protein than whey protein concentrate, which is important for losing weight while retaining muscle mass.
Best Pre-Workout SupplementsCheck Current Price
For a more in depth review, you can read my guide to the best pre-workouts.
There’s no point in going to the gym and getting big if you don’t even have enough energy to lift at 100% effort. Like I always say, lifting with intensity is the #1 step to building muscle.
That’s where pre-workout comes in. Good pre-workout will make your gym sessions 10x better, and give you tons more energy.
When you lift with intensity and energy, you’ll put on tons more muscle and build more strength than you would without.
Pre-workout gives you important nutrients that help you build more muscle, and give you energy.
Supplement Clinical Research
A found that supplementing with beta alanine (which is found in almost all pre-workouts) increased muscle carnosine by 80.1%
“Thirteen male subjects were supplemented with β-alanine (CarnoSyn™) for 4 weeks, 8 of these for 10 weeks… Muscle carnosine was significantly increased by +58.8% and +80.1% after 4 and 10 weeks β-alanine supplementation.”
This means that using pre-workout with beta-alanine literally increased the muscle building blocks by over 80%. An 80% increase in anything is huge, especially in building muscle.
Muscle carnosine is very important for building muscle, it’s almost like the building blocks of it. An 80% increase in it is incredible.
Benefits of Pre-Workout
When you take pre-workout, you pump yourself full of energy and valuable nutrients.
- More energy
- More endurance
- Muscle building nutrients
- Ability to lift with intensity
Taking a pre-workout supplement will drastically improve your workouts, and help you pack on muscle like never before. I strongly recommend you take it.
Let’s go over the best pre-workouts the market has to offer.
Best Types of Pre Workouts to Get Jacked:
With hundreds of kinds of pre workout on the market, you’ve got to sort through the junk and the good stuff. The listed pre-workouts are my favorites:
- Gorilla Mode
- Beyond Raw Lit
- Bucked Up
- Zeus Juice
Of course, you can take a look at my complete list of the best pre workouts on the market for a more in depth analysis.
With that being said, let’s go more into detail why these are the best pre-workouts
After using this pre workout just once, it instantly became one of my favorites. It’s extremely strong and affordable.
In terms of caffeine level, stimulants, and general formulation, Gorilla Mode is one of the most powerful pre-workouts on the market.
Gorilla Mode is great because:
- Caffeine Content: High
- Boosts Your Energy Levels
- Enhance Exercise Performance by Increasing Muscle Strength
- You just need one serving for it to work
Beyond Raw Lit is one of the best pre workouts, period.
Why? Because of its concentration on brain-boosting substances known as “nootropics,” or smart medications.
As I mentioned in my Beyond Raw LIT review, it contains a potent combination of brain-boosting chemicals that have been proved to improve focus, memory, and mood.
This is an excellent pre-workout pill for anyone who wants additional energy and focus without feeling overburdened.
Of course, it still gets you energized and juiced up for the gym, it doesn’t just make your brain function better.
Beyond raw lit is one of my favorite items on the market:
If you look at the ingredients, you’ll notice that they’ve included some of the best, most potent nootropics to help you focus and think more clearly.
It contains a significant amount of caffeine, beta alanine for pumps, creatine monohydrate, and, most importantly, brain-enhancing components.
Bucked up is a newer pre-workout gaining popularity among young gym bros. It’s one of the best pre-workouts for a pump because of the ingredients it contains.
It’s well known that if you want to get a muscle pump, you need high vascularity and nitric oxide boosting ingredients.
Bucked Up contains Himalayan rock salt and sodium. Those two ingredients are crucial for getting a great pump before your workout. Aside from that, bucked up also gives you tons of energy because of its high caffeine content.
Bucked Up Benefits:
- Great pump
- Energy boost
- Tastes good
- Muscle building ingredients
Zeus Juice is one of the best pre-workouts on the market because of its amazing ingredients. It makes me feel ready to run through a wall when I take it.
Use the code “gymbros” for 10% off Zeus Juice!
One thing I noticed when taking Zeus Juice was that I didn’t have a pre-workout crash… I kept most of the energy it gave me throughout the day. I also lifted more when I did it. For example, when I used it on chest/back day, I was benching more than usual.
Zeus Juice Benefits:
- Great pump
- Amazing focus
Best Creatine Supplements To Get Jacked
Creatine is an extremely effective supplement for building muscle, mass, and strength. There’s tons of science backing this, too. In fact, it’s one of my favorite fitness supplements to take.
Creatine is arguably the top supplement for increasing strength, meaning it’s one of the best for athletes, especially football players. It helps us gain good weight, be strong, and be muscular.
Supplement Clinical Research
One study by the University of Oklahoma found that creatine improved “high-intensity anaerobic peak power” by 19.6% in TRAINED athletes.
“Our findings indicate that creatine, supplemented concurrently with resistance and anaerobic training, may positively affect cell hydration status and enhance performance variables further than augmentation seen with training alone.”
The way creatine works is by increasing ATP output, which is pretty much your body’s ability to exert energy and force.
In other words, creatine is probably one of the most important weight gaining supplements for football.
Benefits of Creatine
As I said before, creatine is one of the best weight gaining supplements for football. It also helps you get stronger and heavier. It can also help with speed because it increases your endurance.
- Increases muscle strength
- Helps you gain weight
- Gives you more energy
- Improves strength
In short, taking creatine is one of the fastest ways to speed up muscle growth, weight gain, and enhance athletic performance.
Best Types of Creatine to Get Jacked:
There’s really only one kind of creatine you need to get jacked, and you either take it in pill form or in powder form.
I only go with optimum nutrition for my creatine, because it’s safe, effective, and cheap. There’s no reason to go and buy expensive creatine, you’ll get the same results with all kinds of creatine, no matter what the brand.
SARMS (The #1 Supplement to Get Jacked?)
Woah look at these results! These are absolutely incredible! What do I take to get results like this? A little secret supplement called SARMs.
SARMs are often confused with steroids, however they work differently.
SARMs are great for bodybuilding because of their protein-based molecular structure, which allows them to provide many of the benefits of steroids with FAR less negative effects.
Let me show you how safe they are:
Supplement Clinical Research:
Study Says SARMs Are Very Safe
One scientific study conducted by researchers at the Boston University School of Medicine, found that SARMs present an unprecedented opportunity to improve physical function, bone health, and strength gains, without causing many of the negative side effects steroids are known for:
“The last decade has witnessed unprecedented discovery effort to develop selective androgen receptor modulators that improve physical function and bone health without adversely affecting the prostate and cardiovascular outcomes. SARMs hold promise as a new class of function promoting anabolic therapies for a number of clinical indications, including functional limitations associated with aging and chronic disease, frailty, cancer cachexia, and osteoporosis.”
SARMs Help Fight Cancer
In a scientific study conducted by a privately owned pharmaceutical company, SARMs were shown to help cancer patients stop muscle wasting:
“SARMs increase muscle mass and improve physical function in healthy and diseased individuals, and potentially may provide a new therapy for muscle wasting and cancer cachexia. [They] modulate the same anabolic pathways targeted with classical steroidal androgens, but within the dose range in which expected effects on muscle mass and function are seen androgenic side-effects on prostate, skin, and hair have not been observed. Unlike testosterone, [they] are orally active, nonaromatizable, nonvirilizing, and tissue-selective anabolic agents.”
SARMS were originally introduced into the market to prevent muscle-loss, and seeing that cancer is one of the most common muscle-wasting/loosing diseases, it makes sense that SARMS would help.
Increased Bone Density
SARMs have been found to decrease endocorticol and trabecular bone turnover. In other words, they create denser bones.
Research on Bone Density
Researchers in Japan found that when given a SARM called S-40503 for 4 weeks, their lab rats exhibited markedly increased bone density:
“A novel nonsteroidal androgen receptor (AR) binder, S-40503, was successfully generated in order to develop selective androgen receptor modulators… The compound preferentially bound to AR with nanomolar affinity among NRs. When S-40503 was administrated into orchiectomized (ORX) rats for 4 weeks, bone mineral density (BMD) of femur and muscle weight of levator ani were increased.”
These are just a few of the many studies on SARMS, there are dozens more and rest assured, if you buy them from the right sources you will most likley be fine.
Some situations where you wouldn’t want to take SARMS are if you’re under 18, or new to lifting. There isn’t enough reserarch on how SARMS effect developing bodies, so it’s best to wait until you’re an adult.
Rest assured, SARMs contain a vast number of benefits.
SARMs have a long list of clinically established advantages, many of which are backed up by scientific proof. They have a remarkable influence on the human body.
The following are some of the advantages of using SARMs:
- Boost Bone Density
- Gain massive amounts of strength
- Endurance increased
- Steroids aren’t as suppressive as this.
- Develops Lean Muscle
- Shreds fat
- Muscles Heal More Quickly
- Crazy strength gains
- Improve the health of your joints and tendons
As long as you buy them from safe sites and take a safe amount, SARMS have the potential to completely transform your body!
