We all want to look like Greek Gods, but only a few of us know how to get there. Luckily for you, I’ve laid out a 5 step plan of how to get a greek god physique.
If you follow this guide to a T, stay committed and put in effort, you’ll look like hercules before you know it. Let’s get right into it.
Greek God Workout
The first step of how to get a greek god physique is to get yourself in the gym. There’s tons of guys I know (and I’m sure you know as well) that want to be jacked but won’t put in the effort.
It’s impossible to look like a greek god without going to the gym and lifting heavy weights.
Most people have this step down, but if you haven’t gotten it yet, make a plan to go lift for x amount of days for x hours. I recommend you lift at least 5 times a week for 1-2 hours.
Having a set routine is critical for success in the gym. I recommend my “Workout of The Gods” lifting routine for fast tracked success.
This workout routine will set you up with a customized program to help you shred fat, build muscle mass through hypertrophy training, and help you build a v-taper.
An ideal workout split looks like:

Be sure to hit every muscle group with intensity, as you get out what you put in. Mr. Olympia bodybuilding winners look like they are going to die after every gym session, but they are jacked because of their effort.
How to Look Like A Greek God
The second most critical component of how to get a greek god physique is to eat right.
There’s several cycles of eating that we’ll cover, bulking and cutting, however there are several principles that always will remain the same.
The first is- you have to track your calories. What gets measured gets managed, and if you don’t measure what you eat, you won’t manage your caloric intake.
Caloric intake is actually one of the most important things you can do to get a greek god like physique. 75% of your gains come from the kitchen, and the other 25% come from the gym. Put two and two together, and you’ll get jacked.
With that being said, you have to be extremely selective in what you put in your body. If you want it to look good, it has to have good ingredients go in, the same way you give a lamborghini premium gas instead of some weird oil.
When it comes to eating foods, I follow the general rule of “if a caveman didn’t eat it, I shouldn’t’ either.”
This new diet will be challenging at first, but once you cut out processed b-s foods from your diet, you’ll feel much more energetic and healthy.
You can have a cheat day every once in a while, but limit it to once every two weeks or so, and preferably on a bulking diet.
Bulking For A Greek God Physique
Speaking of bulking diets, let’s go over the first cycle of how to get a greek god physique.
The whole point of a bulk is to put on muscle and some fat. Greek gods are obviously very muscular, so think of this as the “muscle building phase.” I strongly recommend you do this even if you have a strong base of muscle.
The best workout routine on the internet for maximum muscle growth is the “Workout of The Gods” lifting routine for fast tracked success, but you can still put on decent amounts of muscle on other programs.
With that being said, it’s time to learn how to bulk properly.
A bulk done right means you eat in a caloric surplus.
Your body has a basal metabolic rate (BMR) of how many calories you burn a day. In order to put on muscle, you have to eat more than you consume. It’s actually really easy to do-
- Go to a BMR calculator
- Enter in your information
- Take your BMR number and multiply with a decimal
- x 1.6 OR 1.8
- Consume 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight
If you struggle to put on weight at a caloric surplus, try eating more. You may have a fast metabolism, or you just work out extremely intense. There is no one size fits all method.
One last point to make is to consume 1 gram of protein for your bodyweight goal. Personally, I do 1.5x or even 2x but if you’re newer to the gym, you can get away with just 1.
Cutting For A Greek God Physique
Once you’ve put on enough muscle to have the foundation of a greek god physique, you need to cut down your bodyfat to have it show.
Cutting is just a simple as bulking, you just eat less.
Remember when we went over BMR? We’re going to use those same principles again, but just backwards this time.
- Go to a BMR calculator
- Enter in your information
- Take your BMR number and subtract
- -100-500 or eat at maintenance
Personally, I like eating at a 200-300 calorie deficit to shred fat. I work out intense enough to speed up my metabolism and burn calories so that I don’t muscle waste, and just lose fat instead.
Just like with bulking, shredding fat something that will take time and dedication, but if done right it will yield incredibly rewarding results.
If you’re on a cut, you’re obviously going to be more tired because you aren’t consuming a ton of calorie. Luckily, there’s tons of supplements that will help out with that.
